Nuclear weapons present a unique challenge to humanity which religious communities must address.

Setsuko Thurlow, speaker at our “Noiseless Flash” event in collaboration with Quaker Peace and Social Justice, will explain the humanitarian initiative reframing the issue of nuclear weapons from deterrence to their humanitarian consequences and the strong push this gives a Nuclear Ban Treaty.

The hall will hold about 50 people and it’s a good opportunity for peoples of all faiths to come and participate in making our world nuclear free.

Please attend to lend your support for this major event and do, please, publicise the event within you own communities.  Please let me know if you are able to join us on the 12 May at 6.00 pm, a slightly earlier time than previously advertised.

Thank you.
