UK Women of Faith Network mounted Dignity of Women Exhibition

UKWFN Chair Ravinder Kaur Nijjar thanked the Lord Provost for her proactive role and other initiatives to help women who experienced violence in any form.

This year with high profile sexual harassment cases in many countries, the need to make society aware of violence against women becomes more imperative. The Lord Provost of Glasgow Eva Bolander supported the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence by allowing Religions for Peace UK Women of Faith Network to display the Dignity of Women-Scriptural Reflections Exhibition at Glasgow City Chambers from 25 November to 11 December 2017. The exhibition relates verses from the World’s nine religious Scriptures on the honour and status of women.

The exhibition was prepared by the European Women of Faith Network and has been widely exhibited in many countries, and it is for hire. Please get in touch with Ravinder if you are interested to host this exhibition in your community. Her email is Tel: 07811 739706
